Vrelo Bosne is a natural park and the source of the Bosna River, located in Ilidža on the outskirts of Sarajevo. Established as a protected nature monument in 2006, it covers approximately 603 hectares of lush landscape along the foothills of Mount Igman and Bjelašnica WikipediaSarajevo.travel.

The area features a magical Great Alley (“Velika Aleja”), over 3 km long, flanked by plane and chestnut trees planted during the Austro-Hungarian era.
