The wine cellars of Rajac and Rogljevo are among the most distinctive examples of traditional stone-and-wood wine architecture in Serbia. Built between the 18th and 19th centuries, these cellars form compact complexes used for storing and producing wine.
Their design reflects a long-standing winemaking tradition deeply rooted in local craftsmanship. The structures, made of stone, oak, and earth, maintain stable temperatures ideal for wine aging. Many cellars remain active today, offering tastings and showcasing regional wine culture.
The area combines history, landscape, and traditional architecture, making Rajac and Rogljevo an important cultural heritage site of the Danube region.
