Biogradska Gora is one of Europe’s oldest protected forest areas, home to a remarkable primeval beech forest, glacial lakes, and diverse mountain landscapes. The centerpiece is Biogradsko Lake, surrounded by centuries-old trees.
The park preserves traditional pastoral life, with summer huts and mountain meadows illustrating a long coexistence between people and nature. Its biodiversity and peaceful scenery make it one of Montenegro’s most treasured environments.
Today, Biogradska Gora welcomes visitors for hiking, lake activities, and educational nature experiences.
