Dani Srijemuše is a spring manifestation in the Andrijevica region dedicated to srijemuš (wild garlic), a plant deeply rooted in local tradition. Held each May, it marks the beginning of the highland season and brings together villagers, producers, herbalists and visitors.
The festival celebrates both nature and culture. Families gather wild garlic from the forests around the Lim Valley, while local stands offer cheeses, teas, tinctures and handmade wooden products. Traditional dishes prepared on-site reflect the connection between mountain life and forest resources.
Music, children’s workshops, herb walks and stories about the traditional use of srijemuš create a warm atmosphere. Dani Srijemuše highlights the forests, rural households and living traditions of the region.
