Čakor Pass offers one of the most dramatic panoramas in the northern Prokletije region, with wide views of the Komovi massif, Zeletin ridge, and vast conifer and beech forests. The alpine meadows host rare mountain plants such as edelweiss, Balkan gentians, rock jasmine, and houseleeks, making the area an important refuge of biodiversity.

Historically, the pass connected the shepherd communities of Plav, Andrijevica and Rugova. Today it attracts hikers, cyclists, photographers, and nature lovers who come for its open landscapes, quiet highland air, and views over the Plav basin
